For most biochemical tests, the bacteria have to grow and use the medium to provide a result. We can maximize the speed of growth by using an incubator. Here’s how:
Place your cursor over the tube or plate just inoculated and click to engage.
Drag the medium to the incubator and drop it to add it to the tests incubating inside. A message will appear indicating this has been accomplished.
Click on the incubator to bring up a list of all media currently inside.
If you select a medium from that list, it will be removed from the incubator and appear on the lab bench.
